The section on criticism was particularly salient to me, since in addition to receiving criticism I give a lot of it in reviews and editing work. I sometimes wondered in the past if I'd been too harsh and discouraged people from creating, so the contrasts Cameron drew between helpful and unhelpful criticism was helpful from me on both sides of the issue.
